The episode that aired on Monday, April 22nd, titled From Pink to Palace, featured Sabina and Juan Rios. Sabina is an elementary school principal and Juan teaches foreign languages at a middle school. This couple had already done a lot of work on their home, but the kitchen, master bedroom, and sunroom were still in need of some TLC. In just six weeks, Grace and her team transformed the three rooms into beautiful spaces that showcased the family’s story.

The kitchen
was closed off and too small for family gatherings. Grace and her team added
double islands for plenty of prep, seating, and storage space. Yellow, green,
and floral wallpaper was used to call back memories of the couple’s trips to Mexico.
While the couple knew about the kitchen and sunroom renovations, the master bathroom was a
complete surprise! The original master bathroom was outdated and very pink. The new
bathroom is a modern masterpiece where the couple can relax and unwind after a
long day.
80% of the
fixtures, tile, hardware, and labor that went into building the Rios’ master
bathroom was donated, including the large freestanding
tub and freestanding
tub faucet.
If you
missed gorgeous redesign on One of Kind, you can always catch up on Hulu. Make sure you tune in this
Monday at 9 pm CST / 10 pm EST on HGTV for an all-new episode,
featuring our Randolph Morris cast iron high back farm
sink!
